Week 41

Avoid losing your phone -------
Most digital mobile phone manufacturers provide phone owners a way to customize a 'profile'. In addition to ring tone and volume, you can also give the phone (or profile) a name. To give people encouragement to tell you the current location of the phone, 1) give the phone a profile: "$ if found", and 2) set the phone to ring at the loudest level.
Tiplet: Good manners means turning off your phone in meetings, or at least turning the phone to silent mode.

The electronic post-it note ------
If you need a mental crutch for data you are trying to memorize, and your mobile phone is text capable. Dispatch an email to your phone with the info to be recorded. If you don't know how to do that, visit your carrier's WWW site & use their text messaging gateway.
Tiplet: Don't try to record passwords by mailing them to your phone. Email is insecure, and you might lose your phone.
